Molecular fitness test: Start-up of IT Incubator presents at the "Gründer-Stammtisch"

Artur Suleymanov, software engineer at "InFit - your molecular fitness company", presented the latest developments of the newly founded start-up supported by the IT Incubator.

An important step of InFit's fitness test is a blood test that can be done at home. Participants prick their fingers four times a year with the help of a kit provided, place a drop on a special storage medium and send the blood sample by post to a molecular diagnostic analysis laboratory. "The service provider uses the same standards of analysis that apply to medical diagnostics. This also includes data protection requirements," explains Andreas Keller, Professor of Clinical Bioinformatics at Saarland University. The start-up is based on his research.

The analysis results are made accessible to the respective participant via an app, which the InFit team is currently finalizing with the help of the IT Incubator. The app, which will be released this year, will also combine the molecular results with the data from the on-body fitness tracker. In the medium term, the app will also present tailor-made training plans, which also take into account constraints such as on-site opportunities, available time and desired intensity.

The Founder's Stammtisch in the Starter-up Center on the campus of Saar University is the most renowned platform for entrepreneurs, interested parties and partners in the region.
