Dr. Ivo Ihrke
Ivo Ihrke has been head of the Junior Research Group GIAnA - Generalized Image Acquisition and Analysis since January 2010.
Research interests
His main research interests are the modeling of forward and inverse light transport processes and computational algorithms for solving these large-scale problems.
Awards
His dissertation focused on tomographic reconstruction methods for transparent, dynamic phenomena, like fire, smoke, and fluid flows. He received the Dr. Eduard Martin Award for the best dissertation in the Faculty of Engineering.
